Fighting an addiction can be a difficult and trying process. Recovery is a continuous process that lasts throughout the client’s lifetime. The good news is that today, our substance abuse treatment facility is here to help provide you with the support you need to reach your recovery goals.

At our drug rehab clinic, Hayden Recovery approach drug treatment from an evidence based perspective. Our drug rehab centers use proven means of helping people to stay clean, tailoring our addiction recovery program to the individual needs of each client. Our drug rehab facility offers the client the best chances they’ll find anywhere to get clean and stay that way.

The addiction recovery process

While our addiction recovery center will offer highly individualized treatment programs, all of our treatments follow a similar general framework. Here, we’ll take a look at what a client can expect when entering our addiction recovery facility.

Detox is the first step

The first and most important step for anyone who is serious about becoming drug-free and staying that way is the detox process. Detoxification is the complete elimination of all substances from the client’s body. This can be very different from person to person, and the experience can vary depending on the drugs to which they are addicted. While substances may encourage craving behavior, this is easily managed most of the time. For some clients, detox will simply involve watchful waiting for a period of a few days.

For some clients, the detox process can only be carried out under the supervision of trained, professional staff. Our drug detox clinic has such people working at the facility and our staff is fully capable of handling even the most complex detoxifications. At our addiction treatment facility, you’re always in professional, caring hands.

Differential diagnosis helps root out underlying causes

After detox has been successfully completed, the client will meet with one of our in-house specialists to undergo a screening for potential mental health comorbidities. Our addiction treatment center has fully certified specialists who can carry out a differential diagnosis which will determine if there is an underlying mental health condition that may be influencing the severity of the addiction.

It is estimated that up to half of all people suffering from substance abuse also have a co-occurring mental illness. Knowing what underlying mental conditions the client may be suffering from is crucial because it can heavily affect how the treatment program will be designed.

Forming a community of trust

The evidence has long shown that those suffering from substance abuse who are able to become part of a community of like-minded individuals are more likely to achieve their recovery goals.

For this reason, our facility has at its core the formation of a high-trust community, where individuals can feel one hundred percent at ease in discussing their problems and anxieties, as well as forming strong friendships and bonds. It is theorized that one of the main causes of relapse in recovering drug users is the anxiety and discomfort caused by the uncertainty of having to live in a state of sobriety. Our facility reduces that anxiety through the formation of a trusting and relaxing environment.

Many of our clients form lasting bonds with those who they meet in our programs. These bonds can serve as a powerful method of achieving lasting sobriety. In fact, some clients ultimately form a sober support system by gathering together the peers they met through group therapy sessions at our substance abuse treatment facility. Furthermore, we’ll ensure that every client who graduates from our addiction recovery program receives a full plan for aftercare treatment.
